her opinion?
the girl is either extremely indoctrinated or just repeating lines someone told her. how does an 8 year old get an opinion on violent video games anyway? ;) i don't know, using children to spread political views doesn't seem right to me, cute as she may be.

Well, that poor girl might be indoctrinated by some adults or not, but kids are used for advertisement, spreading consumer views which in my opinion is comparable with this young lady spreading political views. You are right, both practiques may be bad but sometimes it is funny.
Kids are well aware of violent video games, splatter-movies or generally sex and crime on tv they watch at night when the parents are out. (I remenber watching "Alien" or "It" when i was an age considered far too young. I couldn't talk to my parents about it because I did it without them knowing it.)
Besides I think adults tend to underestimate children. Are they intellectually grown-up once they turn 18 or 21 which falls together with the ability to decide whether to vote, go to war, smoke and drink alcohol?
One example how smart kids might be is "Logo" the ZDF News-Magazine for Kids which is quiet sophisticated.
When O'Reilly condems cartoons as The Simpsons or Family Guy (right, this are not really cartoons just for kids) which are sometimes violent but in a parodistic way, she might have her opionion about it as well.
... and after all: Tracing down some interviews and statements of Bill O'Reilly I don't like him at all.
Here he is one example where he is guest at the Daily Show.

o'reilly
admittedly I never heard of bill o'reilly before, but obviously he's americas nr. one right-wing entertainer?
I read around a little and it seems the child is an actress and the video a band promotion (as seen in the end). the marketing surely worked ;) although I still object to politics as a marketing tool, seeing what o'reilly did with the video is hilarious (in a sad way). he used it as evidence for child abuse on the internet. (and never mentioning that the video was about him.) explanation: "some nut who feels strongly about [the republican party? the chuch?] could go after the kid and hunt the family down". right. some nut who watched too much o'reilly on tv? see the video here:
